St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Jamie Garcia has made just 29 starts over the past two seasons and there are concerns that his 2014 season may be another lost season.
Garcia, 27, flew back to St. Louis recently to have his shoulder looked at by team doctors. He will get a second look in the form of Dr. James Andrews of Wednesday.

Garcia has proven to be talented when on the field holding career 3.45 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP in 99 career games. His absence to start the season would seemingly benefit Joe Kelly.
Kelly made 37 appearances last season including 15 starts finishing with a 2.69 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP.
