Trade talks involving Tampa Bay Rays catcher Jose Lobaton are heating up according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times.
Lobaton, 29, appeared in 100 games for the Rays last season hitting .249/.320/.394 with seven home runs and 32 RBI.

Over the winter the Rays re-signed Jose Molina and acquired Ryan Hanigan.
Teams believed to be interested in Lobaton are the Diamondbacks, Indians, Rockies, White Sox, Mets, and Nationals according to Topkin.
