The Chicago White Sox have re-signed pitcher Dylan Axelrod to a minor league contract.
Axelrod, 28, appeared in 30 games for the White Sox in 2013 making 20 starts.
The White Sox non-tendered Axelrod in December after he compiled a 5.36 ERA in 198 innings of work over the last three seasons.
Axelrod should provide the White Sox with depth at the minor league level and could be a end of the rotation option in case of injury.
