Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig was arrested on Saturday for reckless driving in Florida.
Puig, 23, was pulled over around 9:30 am after he was caught going 110 mph in Alligator Alley near mile marker 99. Puig was driving a 2013 Mercedes at the time of his arrest. The speed limit in that area is 70 mph.
In April, Puig had a similar incident in Chattanooga, TN. At that time he was charged with speeding, reckless driving and driving without proof of insurance but charges were later dismissed.
Despite a late call up Puig nearly earned a spot on the NL All-Star team and later finished second in Rookie of the Year voting.
