The Minnesota Twins have signed free agent Jason Kubel to a minor league deal.
Kubel hit 30 homers for the D’Backs in 2012 but was largely irrelevant last season batting just .216/.293/.317 with five homers over 97 contests.
The Twins have no shortage of needs in the outfield and at DH which should give Kubel ample playing time if he makes the roster.
Kubel spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Twins.
