A trade involving Price Fielder and Ian Kinsler could happen this winter reports CBS Sports’ Jon Heyman.
The Rangers are looking to clear a infield spot for Jurickson Profar, while improving the bat at first base. They were one of numerous teams who were hotly in chase of Fielder two years ago. Fielder settled for a nine-year deal worth $214 million from the Tigers.

A trade of Fielder would also allow the Tigers to make an offer to Max Scherzer rather then trade him.
With so much money involved this trade seems far off from happening right now.
