The Atlanta Braves have left Dan Uggla off the roster for their National League Divisional Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Elliott Johnson will play second base for the team during the NLDS.
Uggla had a difficult season hitting just .179/.309/.362 over 136 games. He did display some power with 22 home runs but dealt with vision problems for much of the season.

In August Uggla underwent LASIK surgery hoping to help him at the plate but was unable to improve upon his return to the Braves. There is two years and $26 million remaining on Uggla’s contract with the Braves.
