Brandon Beachy will give pitching this season one more chance.
After being shut down in late August with discomfort in his right elbow the 27-year-old Beachy will try throwing again next week. Depending on how Beachy pitches and feels in these sessions will determine if the Braves shut him down for the year or not.
Currently the Braves have no timetable for his return.
#Braves Beachy to resume throwing Mon or Tues, just light stuff initially. No timetable, unknown if he’ll be able to pitch again this season

Under contract for three more seasons the Braves are likely to play it safe with Beachy who made five starts this season with a 4.50 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP.
