Mark Reynolds was designated for assignment on Thursday by the Cleveland Indians. Reynolds, 30, got off to a hot start this season but has been in a slump since the beginning of July and had recently lost playing time at third base.
Reynolds, 30, could ultimately land up in Baltimore.
The Orioles do have interest in reacquiring Mark Reynolds IF the Indians secure trade waivers on him (which they have not done)

An addition of Reynolds could help bolster an Orioles lineup which has gotten little to no production out of the designated hitter spot this season.
From 2011-2012 Reynolds played with the Orioles and hit 60 home runs and drove in 155 RBI in 290 games.
Of course first the Indians will need to place him on waivers, at which point the Orioles will hope he makes it to the point at which they could claim him.
