Anna Benson will remain behind bars after she was denied bail. Benson is a “menace to society” according to Cobb County District Attorney Don Geary.
Benson has been in jail for 24 days and will stay there after Judge C. LaTain Kell declined to grant bail for the 37-year-old.

The estranged wife of former major league pitcher Kris Benson allegedly broke into his residence on July 7 waiving a gun and demanding money.
Anna Benson has been indicted on five counts related to the invasion of Benson’s residence in Marietta, GA.
She is charged with criminal attempt to commit armed robbery, burglary in the first degree, two counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon during commission of felony and could face more than 20 years in prison for demanding $30,000 from Kris Benson.
