Jake Peavy will make his debut in a Red Sox uniform on Saturday when they face the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Peavy was acquired from the White Sox in three-team deal with the Tigers earlier this week. Jose Iglesias went to the Tigers and Avisail Garcia to the White Sox. Brayan Villarreal was also acquired by the Red Sox, along with Peavy.
Peavy will carry a 4.28 ERA and 76/17 K/BB ratio over 80 innings into the start.
