Brandon Beachy will resume his minor league rehab on Tuesday. Beachy will pitch for Triple-A Gwinnett after throwing a 50-pitch bullpen session on Saturday.
The Braves were forced to shut Beachy down a few weeks ago due to inflammation in his surgically repaired elbow.
Beachy had a 2.00 ERA and 68 strikeouts in 81 innings over 13 starts last season before season-ending surgery.
The Braves will likely ask Beachy to make two or three starts before making a decision about his future. Currently there is no obvious spot in the teams rotation.
