The Baltimore Orioles have been seeking to upgrade their starting rotation. On Tuesday the Orioles acquired Scott Feldman from the Chicago Cubs.

Keith Law of ESPN reports that the Orioles have picked up Scott Feldman and catcher Steven Clevenger from the Cubs in exchange for pitchers Jake Arrietta and Pedro Strop, and international draft slots.

The 30-year-old Feldman signed a one year deal with the cubs over the winter worth $6 million.

In 15 starts Feldman owns a 7-6 record, 3.46 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP through 91 innings of work.

Feldman was scheduled to pitch on Tuesday before the trade. The Orioles will send him to the mound on Wednesday against the White Sox.
