Kansas City fans have a long history of running onto the field at Kaufman Stadium. Add Thursday night to a long list of Royal fans misbehaving as a man ran onto the field and stole the rosin bag.
The man slid into the mound past a also sliding security guard and paraded around with the bag before finally being apprehended. While the video leaves much to be desired we can only assume it ended something like this one from a Royals game in 2011.
This season the Royals are 21-23 but are only 4.5 games behind the division leading Indians.
Michael Kohn, who was on the mound, had a few words for the fan after the game which he posted on twitter. \
