The Atlanta Braves are likely to be without Brian McCann a but longer.
McCann was in Atlanta earlier this week to have his right wrist examined. The veteran catcher complained of tenderness in the wrist.
McCann was originally expected to test his surgically-repaired shoulder behind the plate in extended spring training games later this week. It is unclear if this has created a setback.
Evan Gattis and Gerald Laird will continue to fill in behind the plate until McCann is ready to return.
