The Chicago White Sox have won the first two games of the 2013 season thanks to some timely home runs. In the second game of a three game series against Kansas City, the White Sox hit four home runs on Wednesday.

Adam Dunn, Tyler Flowers and Dayan Viciedo all homered off of Royals starter Ervin Santana while Alexei Ramirez hit one later in the game off of reliever Luke Hochevar.

The home runs by Viciedo and Ramirez atoned for errors earlier in the game. Dwayne Wise also made an error for the White Sox.

Starting pitcher Jake Peavy looked in command for much of the game cursing though the first five innings of the game before running into trouble in the sixth.

Relievers Jessie Crain, Donnie Veal and Matt Lindstrom pitched thru the error by Wise and subsequent single by Lorenzo Cain in the seventh. Matt Thronton relieved Lindstrom in the eighth bridging the way to Addison Reed to close out the game in the ninth.

At 2-0 the White Sox are atop the AL Central.
