David Price would consider playing for the Yankees

David Price has not fully ruled out playing for the Yankees. After word circulated on the internet that Price would not play for the Yankees due to their policy regarding facial hair the reigning AL Cy Young Award winner softened his stance.

Thursday morning Price said he would consider the Yankees, in part because of the backlash on twitter. We suspect his agent also played a role.

By not ruling out the Yankees, Price will be able to use them as leverage even if he has no intention of playing for them. By the time Price is a free agent this story will be utterly irrelevant.

Price won 20 games last season to go along with a league best 2.58 ERA as he topped 200 innings for the third consecutive season.
