Kelvim Escobar will attempt to win a spot in the bullpen of the Milwaukee Brewers. The 36-year-old right hander signed a minor league deal with the Brewers on Thurdsday. As part of the deal he will be invited to spring training.

The last time Escobar pitched in the major leagues was 2009 as a member of the Los Angeles Angels. There had been talk about Escobar attempting a come back for a few years now and it appears that he is ready to give it one more shot.

Escobar has appeared in 411 big league games and owns a 101-91 career record with a 4.15 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP.
