The Houston Astros do not have a lot of familiar names on their roster though the team did add one on Monday. Carlos Pena has signed a one-year deal with the Astros worth $2.9 million.
One his best days Pena, 34, is a gold glove caliber defender with a power swing, he hit 19 home runs for Tampa Bay last season. The deal with the Astros also calls for $1.4 million in incentives
“This was my most attractive option,” said Pena at the press conference introducing him.
