Former WWE wrestler (maybe he’s not completely retired?) John Cena has a new opponent. Ford.<\/p>\n

The automaker is suing the guy who made famous lines such as “If you want some, come get some” and “never give up” after he purchased a 2017 GT and promptly sold it less than a month later.<\/p>\n

Cena paid just north of $466,000 for a liquid blue coupe with “Dark Energy” interior and then sold it for a profit less than a month later breaking a clause in the contract with Ford that required him to own the car for at least two years. The Blue Oval brand is seeking more than $75,000 in damages.<\/p>\n

According to AutoBlog<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Ford called Cena a few days later when it heard about the sale, and said Cena copped to the flip. The ex-WWE wrestler is alleged to have later texted Ford, “I completely understand and as stated am willing to work with you and Ford to make it right. My sincerest apologies,” and explained the sale was “for cash to take care of expenses.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It is anyone’s guess what Cena’s expenses are but apparently Cena does not have a fond story of the car or else he may have exaggerated when writing “[If] I were to be deemed fit for ownership I would most certainly use every vehicle of communication to let the world know about the car, the brand, and the experience” on an application for the vehicle.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
