The first ever gold medal in Ski Halfpipe went to David Wise of the United States.<\/p>\n

David Wise, 23, finished first ahead od Mike Riddle of Canada and France’s Kevin Rolland.\u00a0The Reno, Nevada born Wise scored a 92.00 on his first run to set the high score entering the second round. No one could top it, including Wise who wiped out on his second attempt.<\/p>\n

Aaron Blunck of Denver, Colorado finished seventh.<\/p>\n
