Russian teams claimed the gold and bronze medals in the 2014 Winter Olympics Paris Free Skate event held on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The locals celebrated as the team of Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov outpaced everyone to claim the top spot with a score of 236.86. Fellow Russians Ksenia Stolbova and Fedor Klimov earned the silver medal with a 218.68 ahead of the German duo of Aliona Savchenko and Robin szolkowy.<\/p>\n

The highest finishing pair from the United States was Marissa Castelli an Simon Shnapir who fnished ninth.<\/p>\n
