Sanchez&#8217;s roster bonus comes due on March 25.<\/p>\n<p>Pro Football Talk&#8217;s Mike Florio <a href=\"http:\/\/profootballtalk.nbcsports.com\/2014\/03\/06\/sanchezs-status-remains-unclear\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">reports<\/a> the following:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Per a source with knowledge of the situation, it\u2019s still too early to know how it will play out.\u00a0 Whatever the Jets offer Sanchez on a reduced contract could be more than what another team would pay.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Jets appear set to bring in some competition for Geno Smith for 2014 but would they really want to bring back the guy that they drafted Smith to replace?<\/p>\n<p>Sanchez missed all of 2013 after undergoing\u00a0labrum surgery on his throwing shoulder.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The New York Jets and quarterback Mark Sanchez may not be done with one another.
