Terrell Suggs and the Baltimore Raven s have made progress towards a new deal with Mike Peterson of the Baltimore Sun<\/a> saying a deal is now likely.<\/p>\n

Sugg has one year left on his current six-year deal worth $62.5 million. The Ravens would like to sign Suggs to a new deal so they could create additional cap space.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old Suggs has spent his entire career in Baltimore and has been on six AFC Pro Bowl eams in addition to his NFL Defensive Play of the Year honors in 2011 and Super Bowl in 2012.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
