He struggled in run defense but Jones still has confidence according to the <a href=\"http:\/\/cowboysblog.dallasnews.com\/2014\/02\/dallas-cowboys-owner-jerry-jones-confident-lb-bruce-carter-can-still-be-outstanding.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Dallas Morning News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s working at it, though. We saw things, there\u2019s an old adage, if you\u2019ve seen him do it a few times, you know they can do it at least and you go from there,\u201d Jones said. \u201cWe know he can do what this defense calls for and be outstanding. We have some real reasons to be excited about him and certainly he\u2019d be the first to say that he had some things that he\u2019d like to take back.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOverall, he\u2019s got a future here\u00a0\u2026 and that\u2019s a positive. It\u2019s not a condition, he\u2019s going to become more of a pro and more understanding about the kind of commitment and the kind of detail and preparation it takes and he\u2019ll be a lot better for it.
