Leukemia is a form of cancer that affects the blood or bone marrow characterized by an abnormal increase of immature white blood cells called &#8220;blasts&#8221;. Leukemia is a broad term covering a spectrum of diseases. In turn, it is part of the even broader group of diseases affecting the blood, bone marrow, and lymphoid system, which are all known as hematological neoplasms.<\/p>\n<p>The Indianapolis Star said that Pagano underwent blood test after feeling abnormally tired over the last few weeks. The Colts&#8217; are optimistic about his recovery and will be holding a press conference on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>ESPN has said that he will miss the next six weeks undergoing treatment.
