It is not the first time a professional athlete has taken exception to a nickname. While the nickname sounds like a compliment, Martin is not too fond of it.<\/p>\n
“It has to be the worst nickname ever,” Martin told NFL AM <\/em>on Tuesay. “I can’t shake it. It started in college, started back in Boise, with our linemen. I have a lot of bigger friends, and they’d call me the Muscle Hamster because of how much I could lift in the weight room.”<\/p>\n The 23-year-old Martin was the 31st overall pick in last April’s draft.<\/p>\n Tampa Bay is 4-4 this season after back-to-back wins against Minnesota and Oakland. They will play at Raymond James Stadium this Sunday against the San Diego Chargers.
