On Sunday they made the decision to cut veteran Chris Kluwe.<\/p>\n<p>Oakland signed Kluwe to a one-year contract for the veterans minimum after he was released from the Minnesota Vikings in May. He lost out on the Raiders kicking gig to undrafted free agent Marquette King.<\/p>\n<p>King grossed 53.6 yards and netted 45.3 on seven punts in his second preseason with the Raiders.<\/p>\n<p>Kluwe&#8217;s seven preseason punts grossed 46.6 yards and netted 37.4.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WILSON CUT:<\/strong> <a title=\"Raiders waive fourth-round pick Tyler Wilson\" href=\"http:\/\/tireball.com\/nfl\/2013\/09\/01\/raiders-waive-fourth-round-pick-tyler-wilson\/\">Raiders cut Tyler Wilson<\/a><\/p>\n<p>After grading out as a middle of the pack punter last season the Vikings spent their fifth round pick on Jeff Locke out of UCLA.<\/p>\n<p>On twitter Kluwe thanked the Raiders for the opportunity.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p>Thanks to everyone at the Raiders for the opportunity this preseason.
