Tebow played quarterback, running back and caught passes as camp opened.<\/p>\n<p>According to Comcast SportsNew New England&#8217;s Tom Curran the former Jets punt blocker looked &#8220;horrendous&#8221; throwing passes and throwing an interception.<\/p>\n<p>Of course Tebow did catch passes and lined up with running backs. He broke off a 40-year run later in practice which got fans \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HubbuchNYP\/status\/360778800499396608\" target=\"_blank\">back on his side.<\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prior to camp starting Patriots head coach Bill Belichick told reporters that he would use Tebow in the best interest of the team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think that we\u2019ll use Tim wherever we feel like he\u2019s best for the team and I know that\u2019s what he\u2019s committed to doing as well, whatever that is,\u201d Belichick said.<\/p>\n<p>Tebow is not guaranteed of making the teams 53-man roster but it is also worth mentioning this is just the first day of camp and Belichick did praise his work ethic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tim Tebow did not have a good first day at New England Patriots training camp.
