They are a 3.5 point favorite entering this contest but have had to survive a few close falls of late.The total points for the game is set at 47.5.<\/p>\n<p>In the teams first match-up this season the Falcons won on a last-second field goal. Atlanta is coming off a ten point win against New Orleans while Carolina recently lost to Kansas City.<\/p>\n<p>The Falcons average 26.4 points per game, while Carolina is posting 19.6.
