A four year stay in Washington followed his exodus from the Bears.<\/p>\n<p>Thigpen saw his time with the Browns end after he completed just three of 11 passes for 38 yards in Saturday night&#8217;s preseason loss to the Detroit Lions. <\/p>\n<p>Connor Shaw is also on the Browns roster as a quarterback behind Brian Hoyer and Johnny Manziel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday the Cleveland Browns signed former first round pick Rex Grossman to a contract.
