\nDez Bryant is in the final year of his rookie contract with the Dallas Cowboys. Both the Cowboys and the wide receiver are hopeful that a big deal will be reached prior to the season starting and Bryant is doing everything he can to ensure that the 2014 season is his best yet.<\/p>\n

Bryant has dropped a few pounds this season and hopes it will alleviate some of the trouble his back has given him.<\/p>\n

“Feeling lighter,” Bryant said about the weight loss, via Fox Sports<\/a>. “Flying off the ball. Something I’ve been working on before OTAs. As of right now, it’s been good. I’m anxious to see what it is on the field in a real game.”<\/p>\n

Bryant is now in the 212-214 range after being listed at 218 last season. He weighted 224 when he went though the NFL combine.<\/p>\n

“I know what I’m doing I’m going to keep doing because it’s been helping me,” Bryant said. “I haven’t been having any back problems. I’m going to keep doing what I’m doing.”<\/p>\n

Bryant caught 93 passes for 1233 yards and 13 touchdowns last season but is seeking to improve on those numbers.<\/p>\n

“If you do that, you’re going to dominate,” he said. “I love my job. I’m doing a better job of respecting it.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
