He will make just $1.073 million during the 2014 season.<\/p>\n<p>The new deal comes just a day after reports broke that the team was planning a face-to-face meeting with his representatives. With the 49ers getting Carlos Rogers contract off the books and linebacker Navarro Bowman restructuring his deal the team was able to work out a new deal with their signal caller.<\/p>\n<p>If the deal is worth $126 million then Kaepernick&#8217;s new deal is worth $21 million a season, well north of the $18 million that the Chicago Bears gave Jay Cutler in November.<\/p>\n<p>Kaepernick is 21-8 as the 49ers starting quarterback.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After leading the San Francisco 49ers to the NFC Championship game the last two seasons, Colin Kapernick is getting a new deal.
