But Miles has been a really good player for us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Cowboys designated Miles Austin a post-June 1 cut to free up $5.5 million on the salary cap in 2014. Austin had signed a six-year deal worth $54 million for the Cowboys in 2010. If re-signed the Cowboys would figure to give Austin the league minimum.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe economics of his situation really factored into the decision we made with him, coupled with his injuries,\u201d Garrett said. \u201cWe\u2019ll look at the landscape when we get done.
