That mean&#8217;s the No. 1 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft will remain under center for the Panthers for at-least the next two seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Newton will earn $14.67 million in 2015, if the Panthers and Newton are unable to come to an agreement on a long-term extension before then. Newton will be making just $3.378 million in 2014 which makes him one of the NFL&#8217;s best values this coming season. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\">\n<p>The Panthers have exercised their fifth-year option on QB Cam Newton.
