Carl Edward’s is on the pole for Sunday’s Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Edwards had a lap speed of 202.452 mph. It is Edwards first pole of the 2013 season.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, 43 cars will take to the 2 mile track in the Irish Hills of Michigan. Last year’s Spring race was won by Dale Earnhardt Jr., marking his first victory in four years. Earnhardt Jr. is starting 12th.<\/p>\n

Scott Riggs failed to qualify for the race.<\/p>\n
