StarCom Racing announced on Wednesday that Quin Houff would be the full time driver of the No. 00 car for the 2020 and 2021 NASCAR Cup Series seasons.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m very excited to become a part of the StarCom Racing family,\u201d said Houff. \u201cThis is the chance of a lifetime to be able to become a full-time NASCAR cup driver and to turn my childhood dream into a reality. I can\u2019t thank those that were involved throughout my career enough; especially my family and sponsors! I also would like to thank StarCom Racing for this opportunity. I am looking forward to building a reputation and experience alongside this young fast-growing team at the top level of motorsports.\u201d<\/p>\n

Houff takes over the seat previously occupied by Landon Cassill.<\/p>\n

Highlights in Houff’s career include a 12th place finish at Iowa in the Xfinity Series and a lead lap finish at Bristol while competing mainly in the No. 77 car of Spire Motorsports.<\/p>\n
