It was just a discussion, two guys talking, explaining our sides. We didn\u2019t agree on some things, but it was agree to disagree on a few things.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThings happen on the track with two different drivers. You\u2019re never going to be like, \u2018Yeah, you were right on that.\u2019 You\u2019re always going to have your mind-set on what happened in that instance. Some things, we\u2019re not going to agree upon but it was just nice to talk it out. I kind of just wanted to say we talked and we\u2019re fine.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cIn my eyes, it ended really well,\u201d Blaney added. \u201cJimmie is a good friend of mine. It\u2019s just the whole week has been blown up\u2014blown out of proportion a lot\u2014for sure. I got his side and said I didn\u2019t appreciate what he said about me afterward and explained it. And I was fine with it.<\/div>\n
From what was on display in Saturday’s NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series race it is fair to wonder if either driver has some concerns racing near each other Sunday.<\/div>\n
\u201cNo, the racing side-by-side with him doesn’t worry me. We\u2019re still going to race each other hard like we always have, but it was good to talk to him at the race track face-to-face.\u201d
