For now it gets to live on longer than expected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat we have is the assurance that we can run through at least July,\u201d Irwindale Event Center Spokesman Doug Stokes told the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pasadenastarnews.com\/sports\/20160113\/irwindale-speedway-to-stay-open-through-july\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Pasadena News Star<\/a>. \u201cWe\u2019re still cooking right along.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Irwindale features two short tracks, a drag strip, 6,000 seats and paved parking.
