\nJimmie Johnson will be driving a red car during Sunday’s AAA 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.<\/p>\n

Johnson’s car which traditionally has been blue and white will feature red this week at the 1,5-mile track located in Fort Worth as a nod to the employees of Lowe’s who wear red vests.<\/p>\n

“I know what the red vest means to everyone at Lowe’s. That’s why I’m proud to have red on my car at Texas,” Johnson said. “I want to show Lowe’s 260,000 employees that this is for them. It takes a team to run a race like this one, and it takes a team at Lowe’s, day in and day out, to win.<\/p>\n

Along with some Lowe’s employees, Johnson unveiled the car a week ago.<\/p>\n
