The driver of the No. 33 Chevrolet SS\u00a0beat out Paul Menard\u00a0and AJ Allmendinger\u00a0for the top spot.<\/p>\n<p>In the final segment of knockout qualifying a Talladega, Scott\u00a0set the fast time at 48.293\u00a0seconds to claim the pole at the 2.66-mile track located located in Talladega, AL.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday&#8217;s race will air on FOX beginning at 1:00 pm ET. The green flag will wave at 1:20 pm ET.<\/p>\n<p>The Aaron&#8217;s 499 will consist of 188 laps around the 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway making up 500.08 total miles. Last season David Ragan stunned the NASCAR fan base when he pulled off an improbable win at Talladega.
