The driver of the No. 54 Toyota Camry\u00a0beat out Elliott Sadler\u00a0and Darrell Wallace Jr.\u00a0for the top spot.<\/p>\n<p>In the final segment of knockout qualifying Hornish\u00a0set the fast time with a lap speed of 51.268\u00a0seconds, claiming the pole at the 2.66-mile track located in Talladega, AL.<\/p>\n<p>In the first session of qualifying, Kyle Larson attempted to thread the needle between Tanner Berryhill and Regan Smith. The result was a destroyed racecar for Berryhill.<\/p>\n<p>Last season Rgan Smith won this Nationwide Series race at Talladega a season ago.
