It is no secret that the Philadelphia Phillies have left handed pitcher Cole Hamels on the trade market. While the Phillies were unable to find a trade partner a week ago, it is quite possible that a move happens this winter.<\/p>\n

According to Jim Salisburgy of CSNPhilly.com<\/a>, the Phillies want three prospects for Hamels, Salisburgy adds that the Phillies want “two that can play right now and another that isn\u2019t far away.” <\/p>\n

The Phillies have Hamels under contract for four more years at $96 million.<\/p>\n

Coming off perhaps his best overall season, the 30-year old Hamels has a limited no trade clause. Both the Chicago Cubs and Boston Red Sox have been linked to Hamels.
