In his last rehab outing he allowed three runs &#8211; two earned &#8211; on four hits and no walks while striking out four on Saturday at Triple-A Gwinnett.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23Braves&amp;src=hash\">#Braves<\/a> tentatively plan to start Minor on Sat. He&#8217;d be on 2 extra days&#8217; rest. W\/ off day Thurs. He threw 80 in his start on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>A season ago Minor made a big step forward making 32 starts and posting a 3.21 ERA, 3.37 FIP and a 1.09 WHIP across 204 2\/3 innings of work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alex Cobb sets return goal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Alex Cobb is starting to feel better and believes that he will be able to return to the majors in late May or early June.<\/p>\n<p>Cobb has been dealing with an oblique injury and was initially expected to miss 4-6 weeks. The Rays are being cautious with Cobb especially in light of an injury to Matt Moore. Teixeira missed the minimum amount of time while dealing with a hamstring injury. He will return to a\u00a0.250\/.308\/.250 batting l;ne.<\/p>\n<p>One player not returning is Alex Gonzalez who has been released by the Detroit Tigers. Gonzalez was acquired for infielder Steve Lombardozzi in late-spring after Jose Iglesias went down.
