Contrary to earlier reports, Ichiro and the Yankees have not agreed on a one-year deal worth $5 million. The news of a deal not being done yet comes from Sweeny Murti of WFAN.<\/p>\n<p>Ichrio was traded to the Yankees prior to the trade deadline last season. Previously he had played for the Seattle Mariners for a decade.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The now 39-year-old Suzuki appeared in 162 games last season. In each of his seasons in the majors he has appeared in 146 or more games.<\/p>\n<p>While splitting the season between Seattle and New York the Japanese outfielder totaled a .283\/.307\/.390 line.
