Tom Glavine is in the hall of fame having won 305 games and two Cy Young Awards.<\/p>\n

During the left-handers career he is most remembered for being a member of the Atlanta Braves but also spent a five-year stint with the New York Mets.<\/p>\n

Glavine was\u00a061-56 with a 3.97 ERA during his time in New York but says fans still blame him for the teams 2007 collapse.<\/p>\n

On the final day of the season Glavine allowed seven runs in 1\/3 of an inning against the Florida Marlins as the Mets were defeated 8-1. That loss completed the Mets blowing of a seven game lead in the NL East with just 17 games to go.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, I\u2019ve still got people hating on me on Twitter and everywhere else over that game,\u201d Glavine\u00a0told the New York Post<\/a>. \u201cLike I\u2019ve said to people, for what was otherwise a lot of fun for five years, that was not the way I wanted things to end here. It certainly is not something that I\u2019m proud of or certainly not the way I wanted to end my time here as a Met.\u201d<\/p>\n
