The Pirates are sending third baseman Drew Maggi back to Double-A Altoona.<\/p>\n
Maggi made headlines earlier in the week when he made his major league debut after spending 13 seasons in the minors. He would appear in two games for the Pirates coming into Saturday.<\/p>\n
The Pirates will get to keep Maggi for a little while longer on the roster as he will stick around for the rest of the day as the 27th man for the Pirates as they play a double header against the Nationals.<\/p>\n

Miguel Andujar has been recalled by the Pirates after producing a .284\/.364\/.500 slash line this season at Triple-A with three homers and 12 extra-base hits in 88 at-bats. Andujar was claimed off waivers from the Yankees last September. He appeared in nine games for the Pirates last season.<\/p>\n
In order to make room for Andujar on the roster the Pirates transferred pitcher Wil Crowe to the 60-day injured list.<\/p>\n
