Chad Billingsley is set to have an MRI on his right elbow following a bullpen session on Tuesday.
Billingsley was unable to complete the session and now the Los Angeles Dodgers have sent him to have a dye-MRI. Just over a week ago Billingsley reported some discomfort in his elbow following a rehab start. The Dodgers said there was no structural damage at that time.
Chad Billingsley had his bullpen cut short at 20 pitches. Heading back to LA for dye-MRI tomorrow on elbow. Felt tightness/discomfort today

There had been hope that he would be ready to contribute sometime in May. With the recent setback that timetable is up in the air.
Billingsley made just two starts last season. In eight big league seasons he owns a 81-61 record, 3.65 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP.
