Once a top prospect of the Braves, Kyle Davies has pitched just 2 1/3 big league innings since the 2011 season.
Davies pitched briefly for the Yankees last April before returning to the minor leagues where he has bounced around since his release for ineffectiveness and a disorderly contact by the Royals in August of 2011.
He now takes his act to the Yakult Swallows in Japan’s Nippon Professional Baseball.
It will be interesting to see if he can resurrect his career in Japan.
