The Atlanta Braves and Gavin Floyd have reached a one-year deal.
Floyd will earn $4 million as a member of the Braves. His one-year contract also includes $4.5 million worth of incentives.
The 30-year-old Floyd underwent Tommy John surgery last season and could be out until late May for the Braves. He had a 4.22 ERA and 1.30 WHIP in his seven years with the White Sox.
Floyd could be a back of the rotation piece for the Braves when healthy.
